We have a beautiful farm size of 23 acres. We have loads of outdoor spaces, swimming dams, agility and walking trails for dogs to enjoy. Our team is passionate and dedicated, with over 18 years of experience caring for animals. we offer specialized care.

Our story
Ark Animal Centre was established in 2011. We started small and very quickly grew into one of the leading rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming centres in South Africa. We helped rehabilitate and rehome 1000’s of dogs and puppies over the years. The Veterinary clinic was officially opened in 2013 and we had the privilege of working with the most amazing volunteers, fosterers and families who adopted our pups.
The centre grew and so did our passion and knowledge.
It has been such an amazing journey filled with growth and evolution, which has led us where we are now!

The best choice I had ever made. My doggies got treated like royalty and loved every minute with them. I got regular videos and updates from Ark and it really set my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Ark for anyone looking for boarding kennels for their fur babies.

Smooth booking process. Tracy always goes the extra mile, she washed our girl and even clipped her nails! She sent us videos daily and comes in highly recommended!

This is the best place to board your dog.
I will not take Kona anywhere else but to The Ark Doggy Resort.
Kona came home in such good condition as well.
I found The Ark Doggo Resort the best place to board my dog and I will be taking Kona back for visits!

Thank you to the Ark Doggy Resort team for looking after our pups so lovingly. We left our special needs dog with Ark for 5 nights and he was cared for as we would. The daily videos of their wagging tails were a delight, and they miss Tracy and the team!

My first time leaving my two small dogs at a resort, and I had an excellent experience at Ark. They have a great enclosure where the dogs can have fun with no chance of an accidental escape. They were spoiled with great food, treats, and a lot of love. After dropping them off I left with great peace of mind and receive videos with updates regularly. My dogs will not stay anywhere else.
